West Nipissing police officers attended a Verner address regarding a domestic dispute complaint. The female victim told the officers she had an argument with her partner and it escalated to the point where the male pointed a firearm at her and threatened her. Following the investigation, police arrested a male and charged the man with pointing a firearm, assault, uttering threats, and unsafe storage of firearms.
