Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling will start its 2019-2020 season in North Bay.
The event features 15 of the world’s top men and women curlers.
The teams won’t be announced until the fall but the North Bay dates for world-class curling are October 22nd to October 27th.
The event will feature Canadian, World and Olympic curling champions.
The teams compete for a total prize of $250,000 over the course of the grand slam.
Passes for all the North Bay games are now on sale at Memorial Gardens.
The cost is $230.
Full event ticket holders can pick the seats they want by going to the Gardens Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Seat selection is also available by calling 495-8603 extension 2700.
Ticket sales for weekend and single games will go on sale at a later time.
Local organizers are looking for sponsors and volunteers to help pull off the grand slam this fall.
