West Nipissing police have charged a 22-year-old man with several offences following a shoplifting incident.
Police officers were called to the local Canadian Tire about a man caught shoplifting.
The man took off before police got there but store employees told them where the man had gone and he was caught.
Police recovered about 74 dollars in goods from the man.
They also found items taken from a vehicle parked at the Dollarama.
The man is charged with two counts of theft under five thousand dollars and two counts of possession of stolen property.
