A 37-year-old woman is looking at a charge of mischief and being intoxicated in a public place following an incident at a Sturgeon Falls establishment.
The woman had a coffee and was complaining when she spilled the coffee onto a computer desk.
When the accused tried leaving she thought she’d been locked in the business because the door wouldn’t open.
But police say the woman was so intoxicated she didn’t realize she had to push the door to get out.
Instead, the woman kept pulling on the door and when that didn’t work she kicked it hitting the lower glass portion breaking the glass.
