Nipissing University’s President has received the Order of Canada. Michael DeGagne is one of 95 Canadians who were recognized in Ottawa on Friday. He was honored for his support of residential school survivors, and as the head of the Aboriginal Healing Foundation. DeGagne took over the position of president in January 2013.
