A 45-year-old North Bay man is charged with child luring after police learned a 13-year-oldĀ teenager shared numerous images and videos with the accused on social media.
North Bay police say the nature of the images fit the definition of child pornography as defined under the Canadian Criminal Code.
Itās alleged the sharing of the images began in 2015 and North Bay police began to investigate the accused last August.
Their investigation, which included help from the Greater Sudbury Policeās cyber-crime unit, culminated in a raid on the manās home on Tuesday.
Inside were several devices and a computer which police seized.
The man was also arrested at the same time.
Police say they are not releasing his name to protect the identities of potential victims.
The investigation continues.
