Nipissing First Nation closer to self government

A document to help the Nipissing First Nation achieve self government has been approved by the members with an 80 percent margin.  The constitutional document has been discussed on the reserve for eight years.  Chief Marianna Couchie says the large support means her people have faith moving forward on self-government.  The constitution can be read in its entirety at the First Nation’s website, www.NFN.ca
