This man was literally stabbed in the back but luckily he had a friend to help him out.
West Nipissing Police are investigating a stabbing after a man suffering injuries to his back was taken to the hospital by a friend.
Police say the incident is believed to have occurred inside a residence on John Street but the exact location is unknown at this time.
The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening and he is no longer in the hospital’s care.
The victim is reluctant to provide details of the incident and police are actively seeking witnesses.
The investigation is ongoing.
