Some West Nipissing residents asked to run cold water during extreme cold

The extreme cold has affected the water and sewer system in many people’s homes in West Nipissing.

The municipality is recommending people who have had pipes freezing up in past winters to run the cold water tap.

It says to keep the flow steady and to keep the diameter to the size of a pencil.

Residents are urged to keep the tap running until we get a seasonal warm-up in the temperature.
