Getting angry over a lack of treats is going to cost a 33-year-old man in West Nipissing.
Local police had to charge the man with uttering threats and assault after he got upset over not getting some treats.
Investigators say while the man was at his girlfriend’s place another friend dropped by with treats only there weren’t any for the accused.
That upset the 33-year-old who then started arguing with his girlfriend.

The matter escalated to the point that the man threw his girlfriend to the floor, then he hit and threatened her.
When friends intervened, the man left.
Police located the accused, arrested and charged him.
The incident took place on January 14th.
