No charges are pending, however, Sudbury police continue to investigate a pedestrian-vehicle collision that resulted in the death of a man last Wednesday morning in the city.
In this instance, police need to talk to the man driving the white SUV that hit a man who had stepped in front of traffic on the Kingsway and was subsequently hit by two other vehicles.
All three drivers involved in the collision remained at the scene, but then shortly afterward the man in the SUV left and headed on Highway 17 toward Coniston.
Police say they need more information about his vehicle and a statement.
Prior to being hit by the vehicles, police say the victim was behaving in an erratic manner.
Police add the man was not at a crosswalk when he stepped onto the street and there was limited lighting along that part of the Kingsway.
