Drug bust at Wahnapitae First Nation

Using a store on the Wahnapitae First Nation to sell cannabis has resulted in charges against two Sudbury men.

Both are charged with possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling.

One of the men is 20 and the other is 32.

The OPP, First Nation police and the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team raided the storefront on January 3rd.

The drugs have a value of $47,430.

Among the drugs were cannabis bud, oil, shatter and hash.

In addition to the drugs, police also confiscated $2,700 in Canadian currency.
