Environment Canada says freezing rain is occurring and expected overnight tonight.

Snow or snow mixed with ice pellets will begin this evening and change to freezing rain overnight or early tomorrow  morning during the transition from snow to rain.

Travel may be impacted or become hazardous at times.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
