One of two stolen fuel buggies recovered

A construction company between Markstay and Hagar has one of its fuel trailers back after it was stolen last month.

The fuel buggy was recovered on a snowmobile trail in Sudbury by Sudbury police.

Although the trailer has been returned, there’s no indication if the owner also got back the fuel that was in it.

During the weekend of November 17th, two fuel buggies were removed from the construction site.

They contained 1,000 litres of fuel worth $1,500.

In addition, the buggies themselves have a combined value of $18,000.

The trailers are 10 to 12 feet long that support a metal box container.

The search continues for the second stolen trailer.
