A 25-year-old North Bay man is behind bars after a knife was thrown at a woman in a city home. Police say the accused smashed into the woman’s home, threatened her with a large knife then threw it at her. Fortunately the knife hit a pantry. The man, who knows the woman, fled the scene but police caught him a short time later. They’ve charged him with threatening death, assault with a weapon, forcible entry and mischief.
