One of the tasks for the new West Nipissing council is deciding on an integrity commissioner.
Council will review a list of criteria for what skills the commissioner should have at its meeting next Tuesday.
If council can agree on the criteria, then it will formally start the hunt for a commissioner.
Municipalities are now required to have an integrity commissioner who ensures politicians are following the code of conduct.
Integrity commissioners normally have a background in law, municipal affairs or H-R.
