Arts group gets $100,000 grant

Two initiatives by a Sturgeon Falls-based group can move forward thanks to a grant from the Canadian government.

The Aboriginal Curatorial Collective can now apply money to its Nomadic Institute project and the Indigenous Arts Engagement Strategy.

The ACC can apply the funds thanks to $100,000 from the Ministry of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism.

Marc Serre, the MPP for Nickel Belt, announced the funding on behalf of the government.
