Two men face second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of 45-year-old Abraham Kamerman of North Bay.
Kamerman became the victim of a home invasion last Wednesday evening in North Bay when two men entered a home and in the ensuing altercation, Kamerman was shot.
Although he was rushed to hospital, he died a short time later.
Police were on the scene within moments of the shooting but there was no sign of the men they were looking for.
However, on Friday they arrested 25-year-old Taylor Briscoe of North Bay and the next day 26-year-old Ryan Abraham was arrested by London police following an altercation with a cab driver.
North Bay Police Chief Shawn Devine is thankful the arrests were made quickly without anyone else getting hurt.
Devine also says a gun was recovered in the second arrest and tests are being carried out to see if it’s the weapon involved in the Kamerman shooting.
