North Bay Police have removed a quantity of the potentially deadly drug Purple H off the streets.
Police arrested a 33-year-old North Bay man and a 32-year-old woman also of North Bay after wrapping up a drug investigation where they seized 57 grams of the drug.
The street value of the drug is $34,200.
Purple H is a combination of fentanyl and heroin and even a small amount can kill people.

Both are charged with two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and the man faces an additional charge of carrying a concealed weapon after police found a knife on him during the arrest.
Police say they found 15.8 grams of Purple H on the man and 41.2 grams of the drug on the woman.
