TransCanada Corp holds invite only meetings in North Bay…

A Toronto Star article says that TransCanada Corp is holding closed-door, invite only meetings in North Bay to garner support for its Energy East pipeline. Apparently these meetings have been held in the city over the past few weeks, by over 50-people, including retired TransCanada employees. The company admitted that they hold private meetings with citizens across the country, but did not specify how many of those were held in North Bay, or the criteria for who is invited. Meanwhile… Leaked documents last week have Environmental Defense accusing TransCanada of plans to push the pipeline using unethical methods.
