West Nipissing Police aren’t finished with their investigation of a major fraud involving the West Nipissing Family health Team even though they’ve charged one person with numerous fraud-related offences.
The investigation began in October when the health organization called police to report financial irregularities in its accounting records.
Police say the health team was looking at loses of more than $350,000.
On October 31st a 40-year-old Sturgeon Falls woman was charged with numerous counts of fraud over $5,000.
The accused is also looking at many counts of fraud under $5,000 and she’s also charged with breach of trust.
