A North Bay woman scared off a burglar in her home early Saturday morning but the thief still managed to make off with quite a few valuables. The woman was sleeping and was awoken by a man coming upstairs with a flashlight. She screamed and the robber fled. However some cash, credit cards, an IPod, a laptop and two cameras are among the stolen items.
