There’s a solution for residents of West Nipissing who work outside the municipality and want to vote in the upcoming election but can’t because of ballot issues.
The municipality will stay open until 8:00pm next Wednesday so that voters can head to the office and correct a ballot mistake or get a ballot.
The town hall will also open on Saturday, October 20th from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
The additional hours of operation are not advance polls but rather to accommodate working people who work outside the municipality.
People with accessibility issues who can’t get to town hall on weekdays can also use the extended hours.
