North Bay raid results in $62,000 seizure in drugs and cash

A 23-year-old North Bay man is looking at quite a few drug-related charges after a raid on a North Bay home, saw police seize quite a few drugs, cash and small weapons.

The North Bay Crime Unit raided the home on Thibeault Terrace last Thursday and seized 3,350 meth pills.

In addition, 303 grams of cocaine was confiscated along with almost 534 grams of marijuana, some LSD, more than $5,300 in Canadian cash, a switchblade and flare gun.

Police say the total value of the seized goods is nearly $62,000.

The accused is looking at three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He also faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance and single counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of a prohibited weapon.
