Marc Serre, the MP for Nickel Belt, says Canada remains committed to taking a leading role on the climate change front.
Serre was in Panama City with other Canadian delegates talking about what other nations can do to reduce emissions.
Serre and the Canadian contingent met with a number of civil organizations, reps from the United Nations and also Panama’s politicians.
The Liberal MP says one objective was how countries can accelerate the transition to becoming low-emission societies.
