Deadline to mail back ballots in West Nipissing for municipal and school board elections is October 11th

Residents in West Nipissing have one more week to get their mail-in ballots into the municipality so they can be counted for the October 22nd election.

The ballots went out September 26th and they should be in the hands of the electors by now.

However if for some reason you haven’t received a ballot because you moved or for another reason, it’s still possible to vote.

The municipality says drop by the town hall to vote on the spot.

Ensure you have identification like a driver’s license and health card with your photo on it that helps reinforce your identity.

In the event you miss the mail-in deadline of October 11th, you can cast your vote at the town hall.

In this case you’re asked to bring your ballot with you and vote in a kiosk the municipality has in place.

Once the polls close, the votes will be tallied using tabulators.
