West Nipissing council backs North Bay council over better tenant and landlord rights

North Bay council is getting some nearby help has it strives to see some landlord and tenant laws changed.

The help is coming from the Municipality of West Nipissing which is giving council its unanimous support with a resolution it recently passed.

North Bay wants the province to find ways to protect basic tenant rights.

However it also wants protection for a landlord’s property when bad tenants damage it and the city wants landlords to be able to recover their losses.
