West Nipissing IPM group getting tips down south to host next year’s rural expo in Verner

A year from now West Nipissing is hosting the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo.

This week the IPM is taking place in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

To get a feel for how it’s handling the huge event, the local IPM committee is there.

The five day event began in Pain Court on Tuesday and is scheduled to run until Saturday.

Each year the plowing matches in Ontario attract tens of thousands of people from across North America.

And thousands are expected to descend on Verner when the agricultural event takes place there next September.
