It may be hard to believe but 12-year-old Alex Hebert of Sturgeon Falls is taking part in his 13th annual Terry Fox Run this year.
The Grade 7 student, who attends White Woods Public School in Sturgeon Falls, has so many Terry Fox Runs under his belt because he started when he was seven months old in 2006.
His very first run saw him pushed in his baby stroller.
Over the past 12 years, the youngster has raised $10,781.
He’s hoping to hit $12,000 this year by setting a target of $1,500 and so far he’s up to $375.
