Ontario Northland now stops at several northern hospitals

Ontario Northland is making it easier for residents of West Nipissing to get to several out-of-town area hospitals.

The transportation company has started to provide rides to six area hospitals including those in North Bay and Sudbury.

The program is designed for people who don’t have access to a personal vehicle or want to leave the driving to someone else.

All you do is go to a regular stop Ontario Northland currently serves, board the bus and it takes you to the hospital for your appointment.

The service includes stops at the hospitals in Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie, Temiskaming and Englehart.

The trips to all six hospitals run daily except for the health care facility in the Sault which doesn’t run on Saturdays.
