Highway 17 has been reopened between Leblanc Road and Drive-In Road in West Nipissing after it was closed for a police investigation Sunday night.

West Nipissing Police Chief Raymond St Pierre says the investigation continues. WNPS and OPP searched the closed area for a suspect in two confirmed shootings. Residents were evacuated from the affected area but have since been allowed to return to their homes.
