West Nipissing police chief Chuck Seguin is in Blind River Thursday as part of an OPP awards ceremony. Seguin will be handing out two chief’s commendations to officers involved in a life-saving incident. One of the officers is a member of the West Nipissing police and he’s constable Trystan Gagne. The other is constable Brendan Clarke of the Warren OPP. Seguin says the constables worked together on the life-saving incident and he wants to commend both men for their effort.
