A woman found unconscious by EMS in West Nipissing is now charged with causing a disturbance in a public place and possession of a controlled substance.
The woman was unconscious in a Salter Street home and was taken to hospital for treatment with help from the local police.
After being admitted, police left but were called back to the facility by hospital staff because the woman woke up and began swearing, screaming and acting up.
Chief Ray St. Pierre says after their arrival, police arrested the 38-year-old and charged her.
