West Nipissing Council will assemble for its monthly summer meetings Tuesday.
The August combined committee of the whole and council meetings will be the last for this summer as regular meetings resume in September.
Items to be addressed include taxi flat rates in West Nipissing and a motion to support the No Hot Pets campaign.
A resolution to support the City of North Bay’s own resolution seeking long-term funding commitment from the provincial government for the film industry will be brought forward.
Council will discuss a resolution to authorize the Municipality of West Nipissing to enter into an agreement for the operation of the Verner Arena Canteen.
The extension of the road sweeping contract for another two years (2019 & 2020) is also on the agenda.
And finally, there will be a resolution to authorize the name change from Bouffard Court to St-Jacques Court in Sturgeon Falls.
