With the long weekend here, it means busy highways.
The OPP are reminding motorist of the Move Over law.
That’s where you need to slow down if there’s an emergency vehicle stopped ahead with its lights flashing and if possible move to the left.
The law includes slowing down for tow trucks.

The law went into effect in 2014 and that year, 1,593 people were charged.
The highest number of charges were laid two years ago with 2,468 people ticketed.
The number dropped last year to 2,137.
From the beginning of the year to mid-June 932 people have been charged.
