The Labour Market Group has broken down where people in Nipissing District work and it found that a small number of them in the North Bay cluster work in North Bay.
The largest number of out-of-town workers who work in the city are residents of East Ferris.
LMG found that 1,545 East Ferris residents have jobs in North Bay.
The next largest working group is people from Callander where 1,210 of them drive to North Bay for daily work.

The numbers drop as the distance between North Bay and the other communities grow.
For example, only 305 people from West Nipissing have their place of employment in North Bay and 145 Powassan residents have a North Bay job.
For North Bay itself, the LMG found that 17,960 North Bay residents work in their hometown.
