A woman is facing an assault charge in West Nipissing after a domestic incident became violent.
West Nipissing Police Chief Ray St. Pierre says the department got a call about a domestic dispute at a Nipissing Street home in Sturgeon Falls.
When they arrived, police learned that the woman had thrown things at the man, hit him on the face and then jumped on him scratching his face.
Police took her into custody and charged her with the assault offense.
