It’s that time again, to nominate someone for the Nipissing District Human Rights Hall of Fame. The district’s four school boards sponsor the event which will induct someone to the Hall the night of March 19th. The induction date is two days before the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Nominees need to have shown leadership in human rights or anti-racism activities either locally, provincially or around the world. Candidate’s names should be sent to Don Curry at the multicultural centre in North Bay.
