Transfield Services is facing $155,000.00 in fines for poor winter road maintenance in the North Bay area. The fines have been doled out by the Ministry of Transportation, according to the CBC. Some of the company’s infractions include not getting out equipment fast enough after a winter storm, and not completing paperwork accurately. Transfield is among four contracting companies in the North that are facing a total $650,000.00 in fines.
