A Sturgeon Falls pilot wasn’t too badly hurt when an attempt to land his float plane on Lake Nipissing resulted in the plane crashing.
The incident took place Saturday around 1:30pm.
OPP, fire and ambulance personnel responded to the crash and police say the 55-year-old suffered minor injuries.
The Transportation Safety Board and Airline and Aviation Operations Centre are two of several agencies investigating the crash.
The pilot was the only person on board.
A person boating on the lake at the time rescued the pilot.
