Marc Serre, the MP for Nickel Belt, says there are two new programs that help people with accessibility issues.
One is the Youth Innovation Stream where young people are asked to identify barriers in their community and work to overcome them.
The program will give young people up to $10,000 per project for things like raised garden beds.
The other program offers up to $100,000 a project and is called Small Projects Stream.
With this project, organizations undertake larger projects like renovating a community hall or even installing elevators.
