Healthcare and social assistance top the list of jobs most available in Nipissing District during April.
That’s according to the Labour Market Group which found the sector made up nearly 20 percent of all job postings in the district.
LMG found within the sector, demand for personal support and home care workers was highest.
Institutions were looking to fill 22 positions in both jobs types in April.
Also within the sector RPNs and registered nurses were in demand with employers looking for 33 people.
Another demand area for employers was the retail sector followed closely by administration and support and waste management services.
Retail made up 15 percent of the job postings followed by administration, support and waste management services which represented 11.5 percent of April’s vacancies.
The fourth and fifth highest areas looking for workers were transportation and accommodations.
