West Nipissing Police have charged a 36-year-old woman with assault following a domestic incident in Sturgeon Falls.
The woman was arguing with her husband at a relative’s home, then left.
Police say the husband stayed behind for a while but eventually returned home.
Inspector Ray St. Pierre says once he was back, the husband and wife continued their arguing with the woman hitting her spouse.
St. Pierre adds a child was also hit when the child intervened in the arguing.
