Someone who gives blood today during a drive in Sturgeon Falls won’t have to worry about paying for parking at the West Nipissing General Hospital for a long time.
As a way to get people to donate the gift of life, the hospital is giving every donor a ballot to win 30 parking tokens from the health care facility.
The WNGH is sponsoring today’s Canadian Blood Services drive.
It’s at the Sturgeon Falls Recreation Centre and runs from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.

Organizers hope to collect 115 units of blood and have 68 spaces to fill.
