Stabbing in North Bay leads to attempted murder charge

North Bay Police say a man is expected to survive a knifing in the community after being stabbed repeatedly.

His 30-year-old attacker, who is a resident of North Bay, is charged with attempted murder.

Police say the pair know each other and were in the apartment of the accused Saturday night when a fight broke out.

They say the accused first hit the victim many times then began stabbing him repeatedly with a large kitchen knife.
