This year’s West Nipissing Cycle for Charity Bike Ride has something new.
The route the cyclists follow will take them through the Voyageur Cycling Route, a series of trails and roadways that connect to each other across Northeastern Ontario.
Mayor Joanne Savage says a new sign at Minnehaha Bay depicts the Voyageur route.
This year the charity is raising money for Bike for Kids with the proceeds going to buy bicycles, helmets and locks for children.

The fundraising portion is held in conjunction with the West Nipissing Community Health Centre.
About 150 cyclists are part of the charity ride and they begin their trek Sunday at 10:00am from the Cassie Populaire in Sturgeon Falls.
