An incident in Field recently involving two neighbours arguing over dogs running loose and cats fighting escalated after on neighbour challenged the other to a fight.
Taking it a step further, that neighbour then went inside, grabbed a firearm and discharged it from his porch.
West Nipissing Police made multiple visits to the neighbourhood that day and the neighbour who fired the gun was arrested and charged with uttering threats, careless use of a firearm, and discharging a firearm in an unsafe fashion.
