Fire Chief Richard Maranda has released some new informationĀ on the fire restrictions on open air (brush) burning in West Nipissing in the wake of the Victoria Day long weekend.
West Nipissing Fire & Emergency Services advises that all burning permits are suspended until further notice. However, permits may be extended or money refunded.
Effective immediately, only campfires will be permitted within the Municipality of West Nipissing.
