Because of the small number of College Boreal students that are part of the Nipissing campus in West Nipissing, there will be no local graduation ceremony.
Instead the students have been invited to Boreal’s graduation ceremony in Sudbury June 6th.
The college has three ceremonies that day with the first beginning at 10:00am followed by a 2:00pm ceremony and then a 7:00pm evening event.
All three ceremonies are at the college’s Concert Hall site at 21 Lasalle Boulevard.
Boreal says the Nipissing graduates don’t have to take in the Sudbury ceremony and has given them the option of choosing which ceremony they want to be part of.
The first campus to have grad ceremonies is the Timmins site on May 22nd.
More than 600 Boreal students will receive their diplomas over the next several weeks.
In addition, the school will be handing out a number of prizes and bursaries during the ceremonies.
