Search and Rescue is making a comeback in West Nipissing.
The organization is being reformed and is looking for people to carry out search and rescue operations when needed.
Participants will be trained in search and rescue techniques and the training is ongoing so the volunteers are search ready.
In addition, the organization needs office personnel like administrative and maintenance staff.

Applicants need to be at least 18 years old.
Also participants have to pass a criminal background check.
More information will be provided during the recruiting session this Wednesday at the recreation centre in Sturgeon Falls.
The site for the meeting is the Sports Hall of Fame room and it begins at 7:00pm.
